Arrowroot powder, Kaolin Clay and Bentonite Clay are the primary bases and they are used for their moisture-absorbing properties and softens skin, making skin silky soft and are detoxifying.

Magnesium hydroxide neutralizes odor-causing bacteria — no baking soda needed. Studies have shown magnesium to minimize odor caused by excessive perspiration.

Diatomaceous Earth (DE) is composed of a unique combination of 33% silicon, 19% calcium, 5% sodium, 3% magnesium and 2% iron, as well fifteen other trace minerals like boron, manganese, titanium, copper, and zirconium.

Silica is an important trace mineral for human health and one that many are unaware that they need.

DE helps draw out moisture, is also detoxifying, but it also helps to ease sensitive skin.

Coconut Oil contains wonderful antibacterial properties.

Shea Butter & Cocoa Butter is high in vitamins A and E and is incredibly soothing for your skin.

Beeswax (all-natural, unrefined, no additives, etc.) helps to stabilize and slightly harden the deodorant so it isn't too soft. Beeswax does not clog pores, but it does help the moisturizing properties of the butters and oils.

Essential oils inhibit the bacteria...not to mention, they smell wonderful.

Since it is different from the chemical commercial deodorants you're used to so give your body a week or so to detox and adapt. You've been using aluminum and paraben-packed deodorants for years. It's in your pores, and it needs to seep out. This too shall pass.

Note this is NOT an Antiperspirant and will not prevent sweating. Frankly, sweating is your body's way of ridding toxins. By taking in less of them, you should sweat less.
